Built Between Worlds
Ben Schouten, Founder · 14 July 2026

Every business has a place where it began. Ours began between two.
Between East Africa and Europe. Between the place I grew up and the place I later built my professional life. Between opportunity at origin and demand thousands of kilometres away.
Feroz Global grew from that connection. I grew up in Kenya before establishing myself in the Netherlands, and living across both environments created an understanding that eventually became the foundation of the company: international business works best when somebody understands both sides of the table.
The producer and the buyer. The origin and the destination. The relationship and the transaction. The opportunity and the execution.
What the first years taught us
The original idea was straightforward — build a company capable of identifying strong opportunities in emerging and international markets and bringing them into structured global business relationships. Agricultural trade became one of the first areas of focus, and working between Kenyan supply and European demand highlighted something bigger than produce.
Finding products was rarely the hardest part. Finding the right people was.
- Knowing who could actually deliver at the volume they quoted.
- Understanding who could be trusted when a season turned difficult.
- Knowing how to structure a transaction so neither side carried unfair risk.
- Recognising cultural differences before they became commercial problems.
- Staying involved from the first conversation until the deal was complete.
That became the Feroz model, and it is still the part of the work we spend the most time on.
Many markets, one disciplined approach
Markets read time, trust and commitment differently. Timelines are interpreted differently. Commitments are made differently. A silence means one thing in one place and something else entirely in another. Deals do not usually fail because someone acted in bad faith; they fail because two reasonable parties were operating on different assumptions and nobody in the middle noticed.
Sitting between different commercial cultures is not a disadvantage to be managed. It is the perspective Feroz is built on. Our network continues to grow across origins, trade hubs and destination markets worldwide.
Relationship-led, execution-focused
Today Feroz Global operates at the intersection of trade, commodities and international sourcing — agricultural softs and fresh produce, minerals and metals, natural stone, energy and industrial goods. We develop relationships with producers, exporters, buyers and commercial partners across markets, and we work to create transactions that are commercially sound and built to last.
We look beyond the transaction in front of us: at the people behind it, the market around it, and what the relationship could become over time. Where appropriate, we work with a trusted network of independent suppliers, logistics providers, local operators and specialist partners — while remaining our client’s primary point of contact and coordinating the outcome ourselves.
Beyond traditional trade
The same philosophy extends into Feroz Exclusive, our private travel division. Tailored safaris, coastal escapes, bespoke journeys and private air, helicopter and boat charters across Kenya and East Africa — arranged through the same kind of relationships that make our trade work. Different product, identical standard: know the people, understand the environment, protect the relationship, deliver properly.
This is only the beginning
Feroz Global was built from a connection between two parts of the world. Its future will be much larger. We are building a company that moves confidently across markets, industries and borders while keeping relationships at the centre of everything we do.
From origin to destination. From introduction to execution. From opportunity to something real.
If you are buying, selling or planning something across these markets, write to info@ferozglobal.com. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right people for it.
